AAABATournament.com is an independent news and information site dedicated to covering the All American Amateur Baseball Association Leagues, Regionals, and National Tournament. Our goal is to create publicity and excitement for the national tournament amongst players and fans so as to continue the rich history of the tournament far into the future. We also hope to increase awareness of the tournament and aid in its economic contributions to the Greater Johnstown area. If you would like to help us achieve these goals, please contact Brian Varmecky.
The All American Amateur Baseball Association ("Triple A-B-A") National Tournament is a 16-team, week-long, double-elimination tournament featuring high school and college-aged players from around the eastern and midwestern United States. Teams qualify for the tournament by participating in sanctioned leagues and regional tournaments. The national tournament is held each year in early August in Johnstown, Pennsylvania and is a much-celebrated tradition for local residents. The teams from Baltimore, Washington, and New Orleans are perennial contendors for the AAABA crown. Tournament games are played primarily at the historic Point Stadium in downtown Johnstown, as well as at surrounding fields in the region.
