| Altoona | Zanesville |

The regional tournaments are used to reduce the field of franchises down to the sixteen that will compete in Johnstown for the national tournament. In the past, regionals have been held in Livonia, New Brunswick, and Schenectady. However, the two most commonly-contested regionals have been in Altoona and Zanesville.

Regionals used double-elimination brackets like in the national tournament, but games are only 7 innings.
