The New Brunswick Matrix made a big impression in Johnstown last season, finishing 2nd with 5 wins in their debut tournament. The Matrix posted upper bracket wins against New Orleans, Columbus, and Johnstown Martella's. The Matrix also won twice against Brooklyn's Bonnie Rams with scores of 10-0 and 6-2.
Brooklyn will be represented by the popular Youth Service League, who won the 1994 National Championship over Altoona. The Youth Service were last in Johnstown in 2008 where they went 1-2 with a win against Buffalo. Prior to that, they had a 3-2 record during their 5th place finish in 2005.
