Livonia to face Buffalo in championship
July 28, 2012 - The Michigan Rams from Livonia won their first game 5-1 over Key-Hy Auto from Buffalo, New York. They then trounced host Zanesville Junior Pioneers 8-0 on the strength of Sorenson's complete game. Sorenson recorded 12 strikes outs while allowing only 2 hits and 1 walk.
Buffalo eliminated host Zanesville 12-8 in the night cap at Gant Municipal Stadium to advance to the final round against Livonia. Buffalo needs to win twice against the Rams to advance to Johnstown. The Rams only need to win once.
