Regionals in Altoona and Zanesville

Regionals Are This Weekend

- Eight teams will compete for the final two berths in the 67th Annual All American Amateur Baseball Association national tournament. Altoona's Red Bull hosts teams from Buffalo, Cleveland, Maryland State, and Schenectady, while Zanesville's Junior Pioneers host teams from Chicago-Metro, Chicago-South Shore, Columbus, and Toledo. Both regionals are 5-team, double elimination, with the winners and host teams advancing to the national tournament.

In Altoona, play begins Saturday morning at 11:00am at both PSU Altoona and Juniata fields. Teams will then play at both fields at 4:00pm.

In Zanesville, Toledo and Chicago-Metro square off at the Ohio University-Zanesville field, and Columbus meets Chicago-South Shore at Gant Municipal Stadium. Both games are at 10:00am. The losers of those first two games will meet in an elimination game at Gant at 4:00pm. Host Zanesville will play against the winner of the Columbus/South-Shore contest at Gant at 7:00pm to conclude the first day.
