Mifflin County Stars 2010

2011 Elk County League Schedule Released

- The Mifflin County Stars won the right to represent Elk County in the AAABA last season, but were eliminated from the Altoona Regional by strong regional competition. This year, Elk County receives a direct bid into the national tournament, but the Stars will have plenty of tough local competition to contend with first.

The 2011 Continental Collegiate Wood Bat League will begin play on June 9th with four teams: Mifflin County Stars, Dubois Hurricanes, Northern Tier Rookies, and--the 2009 AAABA representatives--Kersey Diamonds. The teams will play a 5-weekend, 10-game schedule and also a playoff in mid-July. The season was originally set to begin on May 28th, but was rescheduled to begin after the holiday weekend.

Game results and standings can be followed here at the CCWBL league page.
